Leah Busam, owner of Pilates Bodies, introduces No Copay Radio to Pilates. Leah began Pilates to decrease chronic lower back pain. A year later with her back issues resolved, Leah became a Certified Pilates Instructor and opened her own studio in 2005. She explains that Pilates is an excellent exercise routine and that over 50% of her clients are baby boomers. Leah leads us through a good introduction of Pilates. The concept based around strengthening core, is designed to work muscle groups rather than individual muscles. This creates long-lean muscles and increases flexibility and balance. Known as the Healthy Lush because she is passionate about food, wine and health, Ann is a Certified Nutrition Therapist and founder of Wolter Wellness. Ann explains that supplements are a key to our health. Why? Because our food just isn’t as nutritious as it used to be. In addition our environment limits the amount of natural supplementation available to our bodies. Further, our poor diets complicate the issue.
