fresh prepared meals on kitchen table

John Zabawa and Monica Roers from Senior Resource Center visit Murf and Jayla.  John is retiring this month from SRC after being with the organization for over 30 years.   John reviews SRC’s accomplishments during his tenure and introduces us to the new President and CEO of SRC, Monica Roers.  Monica addresses what she sees for the future of SRC.  Good luck, John.

Need an Angel?  Then meet Leslie Scotland-Stewart, Director of Business Development for Project Angel Heart.  Leslie tells Murf and Jayla that since 1991, Project Angel Heart’s mission has been to deliver medically tailored meals to people that are dealing with a life-threatening disease.  On average, Project Angel Heart’s clients are dealing with 7 different diagnoses, and their nutritional requirements can be very complex.  Everything is made from scratch to meet their needs.  In fact, they consider their client’s nutritional needs as important as their medication.  Find out why as Leslie tells us more.
